Temporary voice channels
As many voice channels as needed, none in excess.
What it does
Creating ten voice channels “just in case” clutters the list and makes the server look empty. Creating too few forces members to squeeze together.
Temporary channels solve it: one generator channel, and every member who joins it gets their own voice channel, deleted as soon as it empties.
The owner gets a panel to rename, lock, limit or kick.

Create the generator channel
A voice channel named for instance “➕ Create a channel”.

Choose the destination category
Temporary channels will be created there, under the generator.

Set the name template
For example “{user}'s channel”, or the game currently being played.

Announce how it works
Your members need to know that joining the generator creates their own channel.

Frequently asked questions
What happens if the owner leaves?
Ownership is transferred to the member who has been present the longest.
Do temporary channels clutter the list?
No: they disappear as soon as the last member leaves.
