What it does
Running a contest by hand means counting entrants, drawing fairly, and notifying the winner. Three chances to get it wrong.
The Giveaways module publishes the contest, records entries, draws on expiry and announces the result.
Entry conditions let you reward seniority or activity rather than opportunistic drive-bys.

Frequently asked questions
Can I re-roll a draw?
Yes, if a winner does not come forward.
Is the draw really random?
Yes: weighted without replacement, and the same seed gives the same result. Every entrant is recorded, so a draw can be checked afterwards.
