Reddit alerts
A subreddit, filtered down to what your server actually wants.
What it does
A busy subreddit posts hundreds of times a day. Relaying all of it turns a channel into noise, and the channel gets muted.
The Reddit module watches a subreddit and posts only what passes your filters: a score, keywords, a content type.
Reddit now requires API credentials even for public listings, so this platform stays disabled until the bot's operator supplies them — and the page says so plainly.
What you can do
- New posts from any subreddit
- Minimum score before relaying
- Keyword filter on title and body
- Sensitive content excluded, or only
- Delay so the score has time to exist
How to set it up
3 steps · about 3 minutes
-
1
Add the subreddit
Type the name with or without r/. The name is checked before anything is stored.
-
2
Set a score threshold
A threshold of twenty keeps the good posts and drops the rest, which is what makes the channel readable.
-
3
Add a delay
A post one minute old has no score yet. Fifteen minutes gives the votes time to arrive.

Frequently asked questions
Can a sensitive post reach a normal channel?
Never. Flagged posts only go to channels marked as such, whatever the settings say.
