Custom bot

Your bot, under your name.

What it does

On a polished server, a generic bot stands out. Your members see the name and avatar of a third-party service where they should see yours.

The custom bot runs exactly the same modules under your own Discord application: your name, your avatar, your status, your activity.

This feature is included in the Yearly and Lifetime plans. It requires creating a Discord application - a five-minute job, done entirely from the developer portal.

What you can do

  • Name, avatar and banner of your choice
  • Custom status: online, idle, do not disturb, invisible
  • Activity: playing, listening, watching, competing
  • Every module works identically
  • The token is encrypted and never shown again
  • Automatic restart of the bot after an outage

How to set it up

5 steps · about 3 minutes

  1. 1

    Create a Discord application

Go to the Discord developer portal, click “New Application” and give it the name you want.

  2. 2

    Enable the intents

In the “Bot” tab, enable “Server Members Intent” and “Message Content Intent”. Without them, several modules will stay silent.

  3. 3

    Copy the token

Still in the “Bot” tab, click “Reset Token” then copy the value. It is shown only once.

  4. 4

    Enter it in the dashboard

Paste the application ID and the token into “Custom bot”. The token is verified against Discord before being saved, then encrypted.

  5. 5

    Invite your bot

Use the invite link generated by the dashboard, then start the instance. Your members will only ever see your bot.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to remove BILBI from my server?

No. You can keep both during the transition, then remove ours once your bot is in place.

What happens to my token if I stop the subscription?

The instance stops and the token stays encrypted in your configuration. You can delete it at any time from the dashboard.
