Advanced statistics

Understand what keeps your server alive.

What it does

Member count says nothing about a community's health. A 10,000-member server where 40 people talk is a dead server.

Advanced statistics show real activity: messages per day, retention of newcomers, most active channels and members.

Retention at D+7 is the most useful indicator: it tells you whether your new members stay.

What you can do

  • Messages per day, week and month
  • Growth, with arrivals and departures kept apart
  • Retention at D+1, D+7 and D+30 — or “not yet knowable”
  • Busiest channels and members
  • CSV export

How to set it up

4 steps · about 3 minutes

  1. 1

    Enable the module

Collection starts on activation: earlier data cannot be reconstructed.

  2. 2

Let it run for a week

The first useful figures appear after seven days.

  3. 3

    Look at retention first

If it is low, work on onboarding before trying to recruit.

  4. 4

    Enable the weekly report

It arrives as a direct message and saves you from checking the dashboard.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the data kept?

365 days, deleted by the database itself rather than by a task somebody has to remember to restart.

Is the content of messages analysed?

No. Only counters are recorded — who posted, where, and when — never a word of what was said. Collection also stops the moment the module is switched off or the subscription lapses.
