Birthdays
A birthday is not something you forget.
This module is not available yet. It is on our roadmap and will be included for free at launch.
What it does
Wishing a happy birthday by hand assumes keeping a list and remembering on the right day. In practice, nobody does.
The Birthdays module lets each member record their date, then posts the message on the day, at the time you chose.
A temporary role lets you put the person forward for the day.

Choose the channel
The main channel works well: the announcement is meant to be seen.

Mention the person so they are notified.

Set the time
An announcement at 9 a.m. is more visible than one at 3 a.m.

Your members need to know they can record their date.
Frequently asked questions
Is the birth year requested?
No, only the day and month. No sensitive data is stored.
Can a member remove their date?
Yes, at any time.
