A card with the newcomer’s name, a line pointing them at your rules, and a role handed out on arrival.
The usual welcome message does one thing: it says welcome. This one does the thing after that — it says where to go next. What it installs: · a generated card carrying the new member’s name and avatar; · a line sending them to your rules channel, named by you; · a role handed out automatically on arrival, so the rest of the server stays shut until they have read something. You will be asked three questions: the welcome channel, the rules channel, and the role to hand out. Nothing else leaves this preset — none of my channels, none of my roles. Everything arrives switched off. You read it, then you switch it on.
What it sets up
Read from its own rules, not from what its author says about them. Names in ‹brackets› are the questions you will be asked.
