RSS feeds

Any source, inside your server.

This module is not available yet. It is on our roadmap and will be included for free at launch.

What it does

A blog, a news site, a podcast, a status page: many sources publish an RSS feed, and nobody thinks to plug it in.

The RSS module watches those feeds and posts every new item in the channel of your choice.

It is the most versatile of the alert modules: it covers every source the others do not handle.

What you can do

  • Tracking of several feeds
  • Title, excerpt and link in the embed
  • Keyword filter
  • Configurable role mention
  • Works with podcasts and status pages

How to set it up

3 steps · about 3 minutes

  1. 1

    Find the feed URL

Most sites expose it at /rss or /feed. The bot validates it on add.

  2. 2

    Choose the channel

An active feed can publish several times a day: prefer a dedicated channel.

  3. 3

    Filter if needed

Keywords let you relay only part of the feed.
